  • Soul-threaded Corpse: An archaic method of spirit possession achieved through binding an earthbound spirit to a patchwork monstrosity consisting of numerous corpses. Using body parts as an outer shell, the corpse is moved along similar to how a spirit would move forcibly move objects, allowing for unnatural strength and agility. However, this form of possession does not halt decomposition, and as such new parts are always required. As the spirit is physically bound to the body, exorcism is not possible nor do divine objects or hallowed ground prove a problem for him. Being dead, poisons and ailments do not affect him, nor do vampirism or lycanthropy. Due to decomposition the body is easily damaged, but he is incapable of feeling pain or any other sensation.

  • Military Trained: Jack's short-lived career in the public and private military sector provided him with an extensive skill-set which he has honed in the years since his death. It can be assumed that his wealth of knowledge spans the basic capabilities of a deployment ready combat arms member.

  • Occult Knowledge: Though not as vast as most hunters, Jack specializes in common mainstream methods of disposing of supernatural entities. Such as using silver on werewolves, salt on spirits and decapitating vampires. While these well-known methods are apparent to him, things such as exorcism and dealing with unusual encounters are beyond his capabilities.

  [*]Soul Collector: Suffering an agonizing demise had turned Jack into a Death Echo, forced to relive his dying moments time and time again for an eternity. The years of brutality stripped him of much of his core personality leaving only fragments of his sense of self and the lessons that had been drilled into his head time and time again. Seeing the value in this pawn, a soul broker sought to bargain with him. Through his unyielding servitude to darker forces, Jack was sewn into a makeshift body, free to walk among the living once more. His end of the bargain? Hunting immortals. Blasting those souls that had garnered centuries of sin from their unholy vessels so that they could venture to their intended resting place.
